The article offers information on the study which investigates the evaluation of ergovaline inhibition, binding and activation of D2 dopamine receptors in GH4ZR7 cells. Topics discussed include use of ergot alkaloids in vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP)-stimulated cyclic AMP production, cell cultures and dopamine receptor activation.
