- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a single distant lymph node metastasis from pancreatic cancer in a 65-year-old man who was referred for a cancer of the tail of the pancreas. He underwent staging laparoscopy, which revealed that the pelvic tumor existed in the mesentery of the sigmoid colon. He was regularly followed up with no signs of recurrence for six months after a two-stage distal pancreatectomy.
