- Abstract
The article discusses Cinemocracy, a short film competition that focused on perceptions of democracy. The contest, which was organized by the Denver Film Society and a committee of the U.S. 2008 Democratic National Convention, allowed filmmakers to upload their videos over the Internet and Internet users to vote on them. The short film "Everyday Democracy," directed by Charlie Tims, won the Best International Submission Award. The author notes accusations of voting fraud regarding an entry.
