- Abstract
Using camera traps, we studied the activity in 50 nests of two very rare eagle species (greater spotted eagle and lesser spotted eagle) living in the primeval Biebrza Marshes (Poland). In total, we recorded 67 bird species and two mammal species in the eagle nests, mainly sitting and foraging. The Biebrza Marshes in eastern Poland is a well-known and important bird area, crucial to understanding why so many other bird species also use eagle nests.
