- Abstract
The article emphasizes on the importance of rural rotations to the residents and medical students to recruit new physicians. The article focuses on the results of an online survey, which suggests that the medical students and residents highly value the opportunities for hands-on training. The article concludes that the rural rotation is dependent on matching trainee with a good preceptor so that the likelihood of the trainee coming back to rural practice increases.
