- Abstract
The article discusses the impact of the extinction of all mankind, owing to speculation concerning the end of the world in December 2012, on the outcomes of clinical trials. It uses computer modelling to reveal the effect of the apocalypse on a sample clinical trial. It further conducted additional modelling to assess the effects of doomsday on a sample clinical trial comparing the efficacy of two plausible drugs, Toxico and Horribilum.
