- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an 81-year-old woman who was admitted to the hospital after experiencing a syncopal episode. The patient has a past medical history significant for VDD pacemaker placement secondary to third-degree atrioventricular (AV) block. An electrocardiogram was performed which indicated a failure of consistent ventricular capture and supernormal conduction phenomenon.
