- Abstract
A case study of a 54 year old man with six foot long tapeworm in a jar is presented. It discusses that for several days prior to passing the worm, the patient did not have any bloody stools or abdominal pain. It also discusses that the patient had a remarkable medical history for a remote beef tapeworm infection. It further discusses the association of Diphyllobothrium latum, the largest type of tapeworm with eating raw and uncooked freshwater fish.
