- Abstract
The article presents a study on the formation mechanism of reservoirs at the southeastern Ordos Basin and the impact of thermochemical sulfate reduction (TSR) on it in China. It shows that the carbon isotope of replacive calcite is much lower compared to surrounding rocks. The fluid inclusions' extremely low water salinity suggests that TSR was responsible for the decline of salinity of aqueous fluid inclusions.
