The article offers information on the geochemical features and prospecting development of Southern Tiegelong Giant Epithermal Copper Deposit in Tibet, China. Topics discussed include types of metallic sulphides ores detected by energy spectroscopy scanning; metallogenic stages of mineralization such as sedimentary diagenesis and hydrothermal mineralization; and formation of deposits in Early Cretaceous era.
