- Abstract
Zusammenfassung Hintergrund  Impulsives Verhalten ist ein wichtiges Charakteristikum einer ganzen Reihe von psychischen Störungen. Während eine einheitliche Definition der Impulsivität noch umstritten ist, liegen bereits seit einiger Zeit Fragebogen zu dessen Erfassung vor, wie etwa die Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (BIS, Version 11), allerdings ohne eine ausreichende psychometrische Charakterisierung für den deutschen Sprachraum. Material und Methoden  Die Kontrollpersonen wurden aus der städtischen Bevölkerung Münchens rekrutiert. Alkoholabhängige und Patienten mit Suizidversuchen und Borderline-Persönlichkeitsstörung wurden während der stationären Behandlung in der Psychiatrischen Klinik der Universität München rekrutiert. Ergebnisse  Die konfirmatorische Analyse der ursprünglich vorgeschlagenen Faktorenstruktur repräsentierte die Daten unserer Stichprobe nur ungenügend. Die Summenskala der BIS11, für die in allen Untergruppen ausreichende interne Konsistenzwerte ermittelt wurden, differenzierte signifikant das Ausmaà an Impulsivität zwischen Patienten und Kontrollpersonen. Schlussfolgerung  Die Verwendung der BIS11-Summenskala kann im deutschsprachigen Raum am ehesten empfohlen werden. Dieser Summenwert weist eine ausreichende interne Konsistenz auf und differenziert gut das Ausmaà an Impulsivität zwischen verschiedenen Gruppen von Patienten mit psychiatrischen Diagnosen und Kontrollpersonen.
