- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 70-year-old woman complaining of shortness of breath due to a compressive thyroid mass that has been enlarging since 2 months prior. Computed tomography (CT) with contrast revealed an enlarged multinodular thyroid gland with moderate substernal extension and fine-needle aspiration biopsy turned out negative for malignancy. The article discusses differential diagnosis of expanding thyroid mass and the immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related systemic disease (RSD).
