- Abstract
The article presents a study which compare the influence of demographic, clinical, and environmental factors and interventions during initial hospitalization on rehospitalization within 30 days of discharge of children with bronchiolitis. It mentions that the study identifies passive smoke exposure as a major risk factor for readmission. It mentions that the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends clinicians should ask about tobacco smoke and counsel caregivers to quit.
