The article offers information on novel CAPE derivatives which enhance DPSC bone differentiation. Topics include information on Caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE), which is one of the most extensively investigated active components of propolis; anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and regenerative properties of CAPE; and effects of CAPE on mesenchymal stem cell viability.
