- Abstract
The article discusses the case of an 84-year-old female patient with a spontaneous subdural hemorrhage (SDH) caused by a meningioma. Despite successful surgery to remove the meningioma and SDH, the patient's condition continued to deteriorate, and she eventually died. The author raises several concerns, including the classification of meningiomas as benign tumors, the various causes of bleeding in meningiomas, the unclear cause of death in this case, and the need for autopsy results to confirm the cause of death. The author suggests that patients with SDH due to meningioma should undergo autopsy if they die from it despite successful surgery.
