- Abstract
The article titled "Stalingrad, the Battle Seen by the Germans" is a review of the book written by Jonathan Trigg about the Battle of Stalingrad. The author, a British historian and former military officer, offers a different approach to analyzing the battle, based on the words of Hitler, his generals, and the soldiers who lived and died in the battle. The book also debunks some myths about the battle and highlights General Paulus' lack of experience in commanding troops. The article concludes by highlighting the high human costs and the repercussions of the battle on the Soviet Union and the Axis countries.
