- Abstract
The Box-Behnken model was used to optimize the soil of a TCE contaminated site in Shanghai, and the technical parameters of the heat treatment technology applied to the TCE remediation project were obtained. The results show that the process of " low temperature thermal desorption + quicklime" is suitable for low concentration TCE contaminated soil, and the removal rate is positively correlated with the amount of quicklime added. When the temperature reaches 45 °C, the residual TCE concentration is 0.408 mg/kg, reaching the remediation target. Thermal desorption technique is suitable for medium and high concentration TCE contaminated soil. The optimal fitting model is quadratic model with R² =0.92. TCE pollution concentration has a strong positive correlation to soil TCE residue concentration, desorption time has a negative correlation, and water content has a weak negative correlation. The order of influence of each factor on soil TCE residue concentration after thermal desorption treatment is TCE pollution concentration > desorption time > water content.
