- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the quality standard for diabetes in adults released by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). It examines the quality statements of NICE in terms of structured education, physical activity, and care planning. It suggests that the NICE standard can be beneficial to new clinical commissioning groups in commissioning and reviewing high-quality diabetes services.
