- Abstract
The article highlights the scientists' conference held at the Beaver Hall in London, England from February 15-17, 1946. Scientific trade unions such as the Association of Scientific Workers and the British Association of Chemists, supported the event. Scientific opinion should be mobilized to secure the most equitable food distribution in Europe. According to Dr. Tu Chang Wang, there is a need to enlist social scientists to put things right at the distribution end. The importance of chemical engineering was emphasized by Sir Alfred Egerton.
