- Abstract
The article presents the case of a 13-year-old female diagnosed with congenital incidental vertebro-venous fistula with supply of the ascending pharyngeal and occipital artery. The patient was referred to the department of vascular surgery with a painless, soft, pulsating mass in the right occipital region. The mass was detected during a routine examination for headache. The patient was treated with electrolytically detachable coils. In conclusion, detachable coil embolization of a venous fistula pouch is an effective and safe treatment for multifeeder vertebral arteriovenous fistula.
