The article discusses the views of English playwright William Shakespeare towards Catholicism in light of the discovery of a First Folio of his works in the library of St. Omer, France. Topics discussed include Jesuit priest William Sankey's censorship of Shakespeare's plays to take out alleged anti-Catholicism, the book "Shakespeare and Christian Doctrine" by Roland M. Frye, and Shakespeare plays including "King John" and "Henry VIII."
