- Abstract
This article examines the effect of natural sulfur-containing oil compounds on the corrosion state of plant. It states that the main reason for the rapid increase in the corrosion intensity of oil in recent years is the use of reagents to bind hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans at the oil extraction and transportation stage. Several solutions are suggested to solve the problem of high temperature sulfur corrosion on crude oil processing units with due regard to the location of problematic zones.
