- Abstract
The article presents a case report of human rabies in Minnesota in October 2007. As reported, the patient, a 46-year-old man, went to an outpatient facility with paresthesia in his right hand. Among the medical complaints of the patient include having double vision, rapidly progressive respiratory failure and high fever. Also noted are the patient's laboratory findings and the probable source of the patient's rabies. The medical and epidemiologic investigation by the Minnesota Department of Public Health is summarized.
