- Abstract
A fouling release type antifouling coating is prepared by adding a fluorine-containing substance to the silicone resin followed by combination with an organic high-efficiency antifouling agent. The influence of resin viscosity on the contact angle, elastic modulus and tensile strength of the coating is investigated, and the influence of different additions of fluorine-containing substance, organic antifouling agents and nano-SiO2 on the antifouling performance of the coating is investigated. The shallow sea immersion test and dynamic simulation experiments of organosilicon fluorine/ high-efficiency antifouling agent coupling antifouling coatings are conducted. The results show that there is no marine organisms attaching to the surface of the coating after immersion in shallow sea for 12 months, furthermore, there is no marine organisms attaching to the surface of the coating, no blistering, no cracking, and no peeling off after 3 cycles of dynamic simulation test, proving that the coating has good antifouling performance in sea.
