- Abstract
This article aims to analyze the cultural, social and religious formation from the dialogues and other confrontations suffered by groups of Jews, Muslims and Christians within Spain that was under the administration of the Catholic Kings, Isabel of Castile and Fernando of Aragon, in the 15th century. The discussion presented presents as a central issue how these three religious segments were structured, shared their definitions of morality and religious symbolism and other cultural exchanges in a hostile environment, marked by the regency and implementation of the unification project of the Catholic Monarchs within the Hispanic territory. It will explore, therefore, the various resistance actions of Jews and Muslims, the policies of institutional control and spatial segregation applied at a sociocultural level, provided by the crown, together with the understanding of the War of Granada (1492) as a fundamental point for the change of laws and the expulsion of those who professed the Islamic faith within Castilian territory. In this way, it is extremely important to investigate this cultural connection through a humanized critical look to understand the various symbolisms generated by a cultural and religious hybridity within this unique environment, highlighting the particularities of these interconnections and connection networks between these groups.
