- Abstract
The article presents the findings of the Queensland Injecting Drug Survey (QuIDS) which compares the risks behaviours for hepatitis C among indigenous and non-indigenous people who inject drugs in Queensland. It is inferred that the QuIDS was initiative in response to concerns about the increase rates of injecting drug use and associated risk behaviors among Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islanders in 2010. The social characteristics of the survey participants are outlined.
