Three poems by Diane di Prima are presented. 1. First Line: Her stone grey eyes like liquid mercury; Last Line: I took the flower & turned in my heavy cloak. 2. First Line: Still heat in the lowlands; there is thunder among the clouds; Last Line: This poem resembles thunder without lightening. 3. First Line: Like a bird hidden in the white throat of a lily; Last Line: Carries me in the dark to the jade door of a star.
