- Abstract
Affected by many factors, the traditional independent photovoltaic array tracking method has low tracking efficiency and slow speed. Therefore, a global maximum power point tracking control technology for independent photovoltaic array was proposed. By establishing an independent photovoltaic array engineering simulation model, the photovoltaic array power generation characteristics in actual projects were simulated. The output characteristics of independent photovoltaic array were analyzed, and the I – U characteristic curve and P - U characteristic curve were obtained. The gradient method was used to track the global maximum power point, observe the disturbance existing in the P-U characteristic curve, and obtain the maximum value on the P-U characteristic curve. The experimental analysis shows that the method has smaller oscillation range and faster tracking speed under the condition of no shadow. Under static shadow conditions, the tracking accuracy is higher and has good control ability. Under dynamic shadow conditions, the global maximum power point can be accurately found again after the shadow mutation.
