- Abstract
The article discusses a review and meta-analysis of the safety and efficacy of oral misoprostol for labor induction. The study compared women taking oral misoprostol and women taking vaginal dinoprostone in terms of their likelihood to have cesarean births, body mass index (BMI), and cesarean prevention following cervical ripening. A table is presented showing a comparison of current guidelines by international organizations on misoprostol for labor induction.
