- Abstract
An essay is presented on the public-private partnerships in the U.S. which calls for citizen involvement that ensures the delivery of local school reform. In general, those who support the partnerships aim to modernize school administration with the help of superintendents and principals by way of adapting the best attributes of the private sector. Recommendations for improving such partnerships include incorporating practical and philosophical designs, making civic engagement a normative standard and accountability.
