- Abstract
The article describes a case of acute kidney injury (AKI) precipitated by diuretics and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors in a patients with minimal change disease. According to the underfill theory, effective arterial blood volume may be decreased in some nephrotic patients even in the abscence of diuretic use. They have recommended the careful use of diuretics and ACE inhibitors in patients with MCD.
