- Title
FOUR THEORIES OF NEGATIVE THEOLOGY.
- Authors
MILEM, BRUCE
- Abstract
The article discusses several theories of negative theology (NT). One theory interprets NT as an expression of desire for something unknown. Another theory justifies NT on the bases of an extraordinary or mystical experience. In addition, there are two theories about NT as an act of renunciation and as metaphysical theory. Differences between these theories are also discussed.
