- Abstract
Understand the transfer of technical and management knowledge between automakers and parts suppliers, from the perspective of networks, constitutes the objective of this study. The literature on organizational learning is extensive about individual firms, however there is evidence that networks are a "locus" diffusion of knowledge and this is not much explored in the literature of organizational learning. Thus, treating the transfer of knowledge and learning processes observed in the context of business networks is the focus of this article. The study was developed in a modular plant, through seven interviews with the executives of the two automaker and autoparts suppliers, internally established this plant modular plant of the automaker. In the search results are explicit forms of knowledge transfer and mutual development between assembler and suppliers to accept the work methods, procedures, standards, routines, interpersonal contacts, rules, documents and communication methods. Search results show a form of governance supported by interaction and relational capital extend the possibilities of learning processes and the dissemination of technical knowledge and management among the actors involved.
