- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a three-year-old pregnant Holstein Friesian heifer cattle with a history of prolonged labour pain for the past 18 hours and ruptured water bag 12 hours before. It says that vaginal examinations revealed a fully dilated cervix with a double headed single fetus in anterior longitudinal position and was diagnosed with dystocia with uterine rupture. It says that local high caudal anaesthesia was administered and caeserean section was performed.
