With extremely efficient utilization of Pt and superior performance in low-Pt loading proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), the electrocatalysts contribute significantly to reduce the cost of PEMFCs and mitigate the dependence of hydrogen energy on precious metals.
