The article presents a case study of a 59-year-old healthy male who was posted for transurethral resection of bladder tumor. It discusses the use of cefoperazone by the patient six months ago for the treatment of complicated urinary tract infection. It relates the adverse effect of amikacin intravenous (IV) injection on him.
