- Abstract
The article discusses the medical cases of a series of patients who underwent curative resection for treatment of hilar cholangiocarcinoma (HC) in a single-center, focusig on the outcomes after a long-term follow-up. All cases were histopathologically diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, highlighting the challenges of surgery for HC and long-term treatment and demonstrated the effectiveness of portal vein reconstruction to achieve radical resection in patients with advanced HC.
