- Abstract
The article presents an excerpt of an article about medical libraries from the March 30, 1907 issue of the "Journal of the American Medical Association." Medical literature and text books are discussed. Advertisements in medical journals are also discussed. It is suggested that pieces of literature written by physicians or people closely associated with the medical profession would represent works that offered a valuable contribution to literature. Authors mentioned include Dante, Oliver Wendell Holmes, and Robert Joyce.
