Intervención dancística en síntomas motores, cognitivos y emocionales en enfermedad de Parkinson.

- Abstract
Objetivo: analizar el efecto de una intervención dancística sobre síntomas motores y no motores (cognitivos y emocionales) en un grupo de pacientes con EP a través de un programa de 16 sesiones de clases adaptadas a sus necesidades. Método: se incluyeron 15 pacientes con EP del Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía. Se implementó un programa de danza en donde se combinaron elementos de técnica clásica y contemporánea para entrenar: consciencia corporal, peso del cuerpo, postura, equilibrio, coordinación motora y ritmo; incrementando el nivel hasta coordinar una secuencia de movimientos. Se aplicaron pruebas motoras: UPDRS III (Motor), Cognitivas: FAB, BANFE II y Emocionales: escala de Depresión Beck y escalas de Desmoralización y Autocompasión. Núm. de registro del protocolo: 72/19. Resultados: Con relación al efecto de intervención de danza para EP, se encontraron diferencias significativas mediante el estadístico z de Wilcoxon para variables Motoras: Marcha (z=0.046; p=0.046); Cognitivas: FAB (z=-1.931; p=0.053), BANFE: Señalamiento Autodirigido (z= -2.073; p=0.038), WCST # categorías correctas (z=- 2.221; p= 0.026); Aciertos Stroop Forma A (z=-2.360; p=0.032), Errores Stroop Forma A (z=-2.140; p= 0.018), Ordenamiento Alfabético de palabras (z=-2.210; p= 0.027), Ordenamiento Alfabético de Palabras Lista 1 Errores de Orden (z=-2.047; p=0.026), Metamemoria Intrusiones (z=-2.047; p=0.041), Metamemoria Errores Positivos (z=-2.954; p=0.003), Generación de Clasificaciones Semánticas (z=-2.354; p=0.019); sin diferencias significativas en escalas emocionales. Conclusiones: la intervención a través de Danza se plantea como una opción de rehabilitación para abordar paralelamente los aspectos motores, cognitivos y emocionales de pacientes con EP, impactando positivamente en su calidad de vida. Se observaron beneficios en aspectos motores de la marcha; se observó una mejora en tareas de memoria de trabajo visoespacial, control inhibitorio, capacidad para manipular y ordenar mentalmente la información verbal contenida en la memoria de trabajo, producción espontanea de grupos semánticos. Se encontró una tendencia a disminuir síntomas depresivos.
