A biography for scientist Antony van Leeuwenhoek is presented. Topics discussed include his birth in Delft, Netherlands on October 24, 1632; his apprenticeship in a shop of linen-draper, invention of various microscopes and lenses by Leeuwenhoek, scientific discoveries by Leeuwenhoek such as bacteria in 1676 and cell vacuole in 1677, and his death that is called Van Leeuwenhoek's disease.
