Pregnancy outcome adversely affected by antidepressants.
- Abstract
The article reports that pregnancy outcome is adversely affected by antidepressants, one study based in Great Britain suggests. Results showed that women who take selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors for depression during pregnancy are at risk of having low birth-weight babies with respiratory distress. Other significant information relative the research undertaken and the author's analyses of the results are presented.
