- Title
RELEVANCE IS IRRELEVANT: A PLAIN MEANING APPROACH TO TITLE VII RETALIATION CLAIMS.
- Authors
Ledger, Eric
- Abstract
The article offers information on the Title VII's anti-retaliation provision which protects the employee from a lawsuit related to dissemination of confidential documents. Niswander versus Cincinnati Inc. Co.(CIC) court case is presented wherein Niswander allegedly violated the confidentiality policy of CIC for submitting irrelevant documents to her lawyer. It is also noted that if an employee participates in good faith, one should be able to institute a prima facie case of retaliation.
