- Abstract
The authors reflect on the transfer of pediatric patients under intensive care via air transport in Great Britain. They highlight the Scottish Ambulance Service which provides support in the air transfer of patients in remote and rural communities. They emphasize the efforts of the Paediatric Intensive Care Society (PICS) and the neonatal Transport Interest Group (TIG) in urging the government to establish a coordinated national British air transport service for critical children.
