- Abstract
The article discusses the reform in the continuing education (CE) for professionals from the field of medicine. It is mentioned that the American Society for Clinical & Pharmacology reviewed its Continuing Medical Education (CME) by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. The evaluation questioned the legitimacy of industry physicians and scientists providing information in the educational program planning. History of CME, its evolution and other issues are discussed.
