- Abstract
An interview with Kaethe Weingarten, college teacher at Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts, is presented. Most of her writings emphasized the feeling of hope which could sustain the momentum of intimacy and collaboration within the community. She believed the importance of hope and despair which were naturally strengthened the quality of life of individuals. She narrated what was her mother contributed about personal pain by writing a certain journal on inspirational messages to the patients.
