- Abstract
Establishes the importance of lipoprotein(a) level determination in order to define the extent of cholesterol reduction needed to prevent cardiovascular diseases based on studies conducted among male populations in Tanzania and Northern Sweden. Correlation between cholesterol and HDL cholesterol (HDL-C) among Bantus; Increased cholesterol level and triglycerides found among the Swedish group.
