- Abstract
The article presents research findings that suggest that individuals with human immunodeficiency virus HIV-associated Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exhibit higher levels of small airway disease in CT scans, even after accounting for traditional risk factors and lung function. The research highlights the potential importance of considering small airway disease in the management of COPD in the context of HIV.
