- Abstract
This article offers information on epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma (EMC). It is an uncommon salivary gland malignancy which represented one percent of all salivary gland tumors. Women are commonly affected by this condition. Patients with EMC typically presented with a painless, slowly growing mass, and occasionally, there is rapid growth, pain or facial weakness. Diagnosis of EMC must be differentiated from primary salivary gland neoplasms that contain clear cells and metastatic clear cell tumors.
