- Abstract
The article discusses the association between breast cancer and axillary lymph nodes. It is noted that breast cancer usually spreads to the axillary lymph nodes and such lymph nodes are removed with an operation called axillary lymph node dissection. An operation known as sentinel lymph node biopsy is devised to reduce the need for axillary lymph node dissection.
