- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 26-year-old obese Hispanic female who was admitted with cough, fever, body aches, and shortness of breath for five days. Results of the chest x-ray revealed extensive and irregular alveolar infiltrates present in both perhilar regions. The article discusses the implementation of skin preparation process for preventing skin breakdown in patients who are intubated and placed on the RotoProne therapy system.
